Can I make you a little bit jealous????

Afbeelding
Yesterday I went to the Magnolia Winter Event, where we had 3 workshops and 1 make and take. It was a very pleasant and exhausting day. Of course nobody managed to finish the projects. So, I will tell what the workshops were, and I'll show them when they are finished. We started with an explosion box, then a card with a tag and last but not least a schoolbag. The make and take was a sweet little giftbox, made with a kind of origami folding. And we all got this special Tilda.....isn't she lovely???? The other sweet Tilda with those lovely roses was the special edition of the Magnolia Event before this one. I could not resist buying her! I feel very honoured with this stylish award given to me by the lovely Laney . Thanks a lot. Originally there are many rules for forwarding the award, but as I get so much inspiration from so many bloggers, I will pass it to anyone who wants to take it. Thanks for paying me a visit on this cold, but sunny Sunday!

The butterflies are made with a Joy! stencil and the rhinestones on top are from Glitterati Crafts. The flowers are made with a Marianne Design die and the roses are Wild orchid Crafts. As I missed something on the card I put some Stickles on the roses as the finishing touch (the photo had already been made, so you must believe me....lol). All materials are for sale here . Here's my golden Tilda, wearing a necklace with stars. She is sitting on a golden frame, punched with a Marianne Design folder. Underneath is a paper doily lace which I inked golden. Flowers are a combi of the EK Success big daisy punch and 2 different Marianne Design flowers. All Marianne Design stuff is for sale at 't Bezige Bijtje . On top of the flowers are 2 big buttons from my stash. Another button is on top of the golden organza bow. It also has a charm hanging. Gold papers are from my stash, the paper with golden baubles (hardly to see) is from an old Action block, the white with golden paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle and is cut with Martha Stewart's scalloped border punch. On top of it some brownish/golden lace from my stash. I handstitched with a golden thread. Here a close-up of that lovely moose Tilda and I do hope that the necklace is not too heavy for her! the Copics used: I will enter the following challenges: Paper Cutz Challenge : Lots of bling and Chri

For this card I used papers from Echo Park and I distressed them with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The stamp is from Hero Arts and the snowflakes are made with Tulip's Puffy paint. Flowers and leaves are made with Marianne Creatables. The pearl stones at the heart are from Kars. The ornament at the right corner is a Joycrafts stencil, which I cut, embossed and distressed with Vintage Photo too. On top some pearls with the bronze Perlen Pen. Lace is from my stash. As you may have noticed on top of my sidebar I'm a designer for 't Bezige Bijtje since last week (especially for Joycrafts). 't Bezige Bijtje is a local shop ánd also a webshop. Diana is the owner of this nice shop and she supplied me with the Marianne Creatables, Joycrafts stencil, Tim Holtz distress ink and Kars' pearls. Why not pay her a visit? A close-up of that sweet Christmas doggie: As the stamp is just a small one I only used a few colours: I will enter the following challenges: Creative

Baby Dillan

Afbeelding
Originally this would be my DT card for Fairy Fun Friday's challenge Buttons & Bows, but our beloved Roberta gave us her new Christmas releases to play with (see my post below). Just go to our challenge blog to see her new fab images. One of my colleagues is giving birth any day now and I saw I only have a card for a baby girl, so I had to make a baby boy card. The papers are Eline's Babies Blue from Marianne Design, except the darkest blue dotted paper, which is from my stash, as are the charm, buttons and ribbons. For Dillan (who you can buy here ) I used my oval and scalloped oval nestabilities. Here a close-up of that cute Baby Dillan (sorry that the pic is a little bit blurry): As you can see I didn't use many Copics, due to the paperpiecing! I will enter the following challenges: Picture Perfect Creations : Sketch Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays : No flowers Charisma Cardz : Babies Digi Doodle Shop's Best : Anything goes Hodge Podge Shop : Anything goes

The flower: first a bought one, then a green and a red Marianne Design's pointsettia treated with green and red Stickles. On top a ribbon bow with a pin with an extra charm flower. The red buttons (some with ribbon) are from my stash. The image is one of the new releases by Roberta of Prairie Fairy and is for sale here . Birthdaycard for my hubby

Afbeelding
I made this card for my beloved hubby who has his birthday today and who is longing for the sun already. So I decided to use this appropriate House Mouse stamp (sorry for the blurry pic). Papers are American Crafts. The tickets are stamped on kraft paper. The rik rak is from my stash and the shelves are found on the beach last summer. I also adhered a shelf charm and some parasols. Nesties used are Labels eight. Here you can see the ticker somewhat better. This is the backside of the ticket.....that's my present for MDH. Here a close-up of the sweet mice. I did some Smooch on the shelves to let them shimmer but unfortunately you can only see it on the right side of the pic.. And of course the used Copics. I will enter the following challenges: Cards for Men : Animals Lotstodo : Friends/friendship Sketch Saturday : Sketch Simon Says Stamp : Masculin (it's for my hubby) and a charm Stampavie and more : Use a tag Sarah Hurley Challenge : Easel card MAWTT : Nice and bright Cute

MidWeekReminder Fairy Fun Fridays DT card Make Your Own Flower

Afbeelding
This is my midweekreminder for the challenge Make Your Own Flower at Fairy Fun Friday. I made the card with the Flower Patch Paper Pad from Making Memories, used the nestie die Blossom to cut Elsie the Elephant and coloured her with copics. The small flowers are made with the smallest retro punch and I put a Perlen Pen drop in the heart. The big flowers are build up of some layers of the three retro punches, then stapled, a brad in the middle and afterwards whettened and crumpled up. I used Glimmer mist and Stickles frosted lace to let them shimmer. A silver pearl in the heart and underneath I made a circle from lace. The butterflies are beads. I separated that lovely Elsie from her brother Edwin because you buy them as a couple ( here ). I think it is needless to say that they are designed by my 'boss' Roberta. You've still got a whole week to enter this nice challenge. So I hope I can come to see your wonderful creation. Thanks for visiting me and I will be very glad

My blog has attitude......

Afbeelding
This fabulous 'I got Attitude' award was given to me by Corry ànd Mrs. A . Yes, I got it from both of them and I feel flattered and deeply honoured. I love the new look, and with it comes a very wonderful $5 gift certificate from The Digi's with Attitude Store . I just have to follow a few simple steps. Firstly, I am to give this award to 5 other bloggers. Well, I think this is always the very most difficult part. How to choose just 5. Well I decided to do the same as Corry and choose a few of the talented people that give me some love on a regular basis and whom I visit on a regular basis. Now, Lori, Debs and Lorraine are three of them, and sorry girls but I know you all have one, but let me tell you you're all greatly appreciated by me. So here are my 5: POPS HEGE-ANNIE ULA SUZI BRENDA Secondly- Tell 3 things about yourself which makes you different to anyone else. This is the most difficult part because I can not think up anything as I am a average and happy person
